Established in 1967, Glamour Pools and Spas proudly became Newcastle’s first pool company, delivering top-tier products to residents across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. Over the decades, our reach has expanded north to Port Stephens, west to Cessnock and the Hunter Region, and south into the Central Coast suburbs and West Lake Macquarie.

As Australia’s oldest continuously family-owned and operated pool store, our legacy is built on over 150 years of combined industry experience. This extensive knowledge enables our team to effectively troubleshoot and resolve the challenges pool and spa owners encounter. We have been a proud member of SPASA NSW since 1980, cementing our role as a trusted leader in the industry.

In 1996, we became a Guardex by Biolab dealer, offering innovative water quality solutions to pool and spa owners in the Hunter region. Our commitment to quality soon led us to become a Premium BioGuard Dealer, providing patented water care products that ensure peace of mind for pool and spa maintenance.

In 1998, we introduced ClevaQuip Australia and partnered with Hayward Pool Products, the world’s largest pool equipment supplier. By sourcing high-quality, Australian-made salt chlorinators alongside Hayward’s energy-efficient 10 Star Variable Speed Tristar Pump, we’ve upheld a standard of reliability that exceeds industry averages in product lifespan and warranties.

In 2008, we became one of the founding dealers of Just Spas, bringing the best Australian-made and imported spas and swim spas to local residents. As one of the largest Just Spas Platinum MegaStores in New South Wales, we proudly showcase over 15 spas and at least 2 swim spas, with a fully stocked display exceeding 20 spas and 5 swim spas.

Since 2011, we have offered Dolphin Robotic Pool Cleaners by Maytronics, the premier choice for cleaning pools ranging from small plunge pools to Olympic-sized public pools. As an Elite Dealer and the only authorized repairer and warranty agent for Maytronics, we ensure that pool owners have access to the best cleaning solutions available.

In 2013, we added Bullfrog Spas to our Just Spas Megastore Showroom. These American-made spas are globally recognized as the most energy-efficient and innovative in spa technology, therapy, and comfort. Our showroom boasts one of the largest Bullfrog Spa displays in New South Wales.

As Newcastle’s largest independent pool and spa store, we pride ourselves on offering expert advice for all pool and spa needs. Our factory-certified and experienced staff provide in-store consultations, phone support, mobile home services, and computerised water analysis.

Since constructing Newcastle’s first concrete pool, we’ve grown on a foundation of family values and industry best practices. While we no longer build pools, we remain dedicated to serving our customers through our pool shop, mobile services, and our ever-expanding range of spas and swim spas.
